From kahuna_irl on Reddit: "Will the Torpor / Narcotics timer in the next version tell us how much food to feed the dino before it wakes up? For example would it allow us to create a food / narcotics que in the dinos inventory so we dont have to baby sit it anymore?"

I like this and was actually thinking about this same thing the other night. As an example. If I'm starving a tame, it would be nice to know how much prime meat I would need to tame it and whether or not I would be able to fit it all on the tame before his food count became full.
